The Library will close on holidays observed by the City of Hailey, including:
- New Year’s Day
- Idaho Human Rights Day
- Presidents’ Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day and Thanksgiving Friday
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
The Library may close at other times as deemed appropriate (including one in-service staff training day per year) by the Library Director with the approval of the Hailey Public Library’s Board of Trustees. Except in cases of emergencies, notice of closing will be posted in the library two weeks in advance and will be reported to the local news media.
