Pick Your Poison – Water Hemlock

Seize the Day! with Cat Helms

Thursday, June 8

5:30-7:00 PM

The Hailey Public Library’s favorite forensic chemist Cat Helms takes a look at cicutoxin, the poison found in water hemlock. Common along small ditches and wet meadows in Blaine County, it is considered the most violently toxic plant growing in North America. This free talk will be held at Town Center West, 116 S River St, across from the library.

Want to attend the event but can’t make it in person? Not to worry, our adult programs are also live streamed from our YouTube channel. Busy that day but still interested in the talk? After an editing process, the programs are archived permanently from the same YouTube channel.
